This soup is called ABC soup because it is easy to prepare, as simple as ABC. It has lots of vitamins too, from A to Z.
Notes
Tbsp = tablespoon
Chopped = chopped or cut into ½ cm pieces
Place the pork bones to boil in a pot of water for 2 to 5 minutes to remove any impurities. After boiling, remove the bones and run them in cold water, and set aside.
How to prepare ABC soup
1. Boil pork bone. scooping off any foam that may rise to the surface
2. Simmer for 2 minutes, removing impurities from the water.
3. Remove the pork bone and set aside. Discard the water.
4. Add the pork bones and the ingredients to a large pot. Fill the pot with clean water enough to cover all the ingredients.
5. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to medium.
6. Simmer at medium heat for 40 to 45 minutes.
7. Season with salt according to your requirements, then remove from heat.

Ingredients
200 g Pork bones or pork riblets, or boneless pork ribs. Alternatively, may use chicken in place of pork.
½ tbsp white peppercorns
1 large onion, cut into quarters
2 carrots, cut into 3 cm width pieces.
2 to 3 medium to large size potatoes, cut into halves or quarters
2 tomatoes, cut into quarters.
4 ears of corn (maize), unhusked.
½ tbsp Salt
Water enough to cover the ingredients
